As part of the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) in Seville, we were proud to co-organise the event “Genuine Sustainability Assessment for the Social and Solidarity Economy.”

Together with the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy and UNRISD, we presented a proposal to assess sustainability based on real planetary and social boundaries, moving away from abstract metrics. Our objective is to demonstrate that the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) already embodies the values needed for change and to make its genuine impact more visible in order to attract transformative financing.
