Fifty years on, the legacy of José María Arizmendiarrieta, the driving force behind the cooperative movement that gave rise to MONDRAGON and whose vision inspired the creation of ASETT, continues to serve as a reference point for reflecting on the role of the Social Economy in addressing the major challenges of our time.
To mark this anniversary, ASETT is organising an event on 12 November in Donostia-San Sebastián dedicated to honouring his legacy, reflecting on the continued relevance of his ideas, and sharing experiences and knowledge about the solutions the Social Economy is providing to today's challenges.
The Social Economy is already offering solutions to major economic, social and territorial challenges. At ASETT, we aim to continue connecting these experiences, sharing lessons learned and exploring how to expand their reach and contribution to transforming the economy.
The event will provide an opportunity to bring together institutions, organisations, businesses and individuals involved in the Social Economy, share knowledge and continue reflecting on the role of cooperation in addressing today's challenges.
