ASETT took part in the OECD Government Foresight Community Day, an international event organised by the OECD Government Foresight Community (GFC), a network that brings together public sector professionals specialising in strategic foresight to exchange knowledge and develop new capabilities for improving public decision-making.

The Government Foresight Community (GFC) is one of the world’s leading international networks dedicated to the application of strategic foresight in public policy. The community promotes the continuous exchange of methodologies, tools and practical experience between governments and organisations, helping to strengthen institutional capacity to anticipate future scenarios and design more resilient and innovative public policies.

This year’s edition will feature contributions from 23 countries, reflecting both the diversity and the global reach of the community. For the first time, the programme will also include dedicated sessions in Spanish, broadening participation and encouraging greater exchange across different linguistic communities.

The event will retain the highly interactive format that has become its hallmark, with breakout sessions designed to explore foresight methodologies in greater depth, share practical experiences in public policy design, and create new opportunities for international collaboration.

ASETT’s participation reflects its strategic commitment to positioning strategic foresight as one of the core pillars of its work, alongside knowledge generation and applied experimentation. From this perspective, foresight is a key tool for anticipating long-term structural challenges and supporting the development of economic and business models that are more inclusive, sustainable and resilient.
