Ibon Zugasti Gorostidi, Foresight Coordinator at ASETT, represented the organisation at an event focused on advancing a more diverse and inclusive approach to think tank evaluation and strengthening international cooperation.

On 14 September 2026, ASETT participated in the international seminar “Towards a More Diverse, Equitable and Inclusive Global Think Tank Evaluation”, held in a hybrid format with venues in Beijing and Budapest. The event was organised by bodies within the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and by the China-CEE Institute.

The seminar addressed two key questions: how to move towards an approach to evaluation that incorporates diversity, equity and inclusion, and how to strengthen cooperation between think tanks through knowledge sharing. These two themes shaped the seminar’s panel discussions.

Through its participation, ASETT continues to connect the Social Economy with international forums for reflection and exchange. Sharing knowledge and bringing together different perspectives are also part of developing responses to shared challenges.
